THE 16:15 PROJECT
Independent Films. Eternal Impact.
Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

What Is The 16:15 Project?
The 16:15 Project is a cinematic mission born out of Trick Entertainment Films and is the foundation of a modern Catholic film apostolate.
We create short-form films designed to reach:
-
Young adults who still have some faith — but are on the fence
-
Those burned, skeptical, or quietly searching for meaning
-
People who won’t click on “religious content,” but will watch a powerful story
This is not preaching.
This is truth through story.
Our Mission in Action
Decades ago, Fr. Ellwood “Bud” Kieser and the Paulist Fathers built a film and television apostolate that produced hundreds of short films and features—quietly forming hearts through story.
What We’re Building
Not one film. A studio.
A permanent Catholic storytelling engine that can grow from short films into larger projects over time:
-
Short films (foundation)
-
Occasional feature films (expansion)
-
Ongoing releases that build audience and reach
All projects are rooted in Catholic teaching, but made to resonate with anyone seeking meaning.
Why We’re Different
This Isn’t Hollywood.
We aren’t afraid of faith. We aren’t chasing trends. We’re telling stories the big studios won’t touch.

About the Vision
After nearly 40 years in the industry, I’m creating something that gives back to the Lord—short Catholic/Christian films made with excellence, meaning, and heart. This isn’t about preaching. It’s about creating stories that move people, inspire faith, and reflect the truth and beauty of Catholic life.
Lead Me to the Cross,” my first short in this mission, has been selected for multiple international festivals and earned awards for its message and craft. It’s proof that this work matters—and that it resonates.
